We are at the start of a New Year. While every moment offers a new beginning, I wonder what your focus is for this year?
My focus is to be guided by and live from my authentic soulful expression.
It means to be fully present and in my body, to be aware, listening and trusting my inner knowing and its guidance. It means to move into action from that place of presence.
When I do this, I feel an ease of living, a freedom in my body, and so much support. I am truly amazed how this happens consistently every day.
A client recently commented in her session:
“When I find I can be present and fully in my body, then I have no pain.”
My mission is to encourage you — and everyone I connect with — to engage at a
deep level of embodiment, to be fully present. In doing so, as with my client, you can experience being pain free and trusting your inner guidance.
It is nearly impossible to find the quiet place within when you have an over-active mind, with recurring, persistent pain, or feel stressed and anxious.
So what do you do if you find it difficult to be quiet and go within, to meditate? How can you find your true focus for 2016, or your life, if you don’t know how to quiet your mind?
For many years, I could not turn down the volume in my head. Because of that, I found it difficult to be present in my body. My anxious state disconnected me from my body, and I often experienced body pain.
So how did I transform this?
As I have learned how to engage with my body, I have also dealt with the challenges, resistance, and FEAR that have come up.
I have been shown how to listen to my pain, and how to find the messages underneath. I have also followed the guided information I have been given and moved into action.
For this month, I suggest you try repeating this mantra as you go through your day:
As you say this, notice what you are feeling and say it out loud (or loud enough in your head so you bring it to your full awareness). Be as honest as you can.
Let me know what comes up for you. I always love to hear from you and truly enjoy the emails I receive.
At the end of last year, I had 6 weeks in Australia. Upon my return, I got sick with the flu bug. It dragged on for a month and was not fun. However I did rest into it and actually enjoyed the quiet time!
Have a wonderful month and remember to….
I found this quote to be relevant and profound. I hope you do too!
