One of my clients said yesterday that this time of the year she finds things get frazzled, and I certainly know what she was talking about. Energetically it does get chaotic with all that there is to do, think about, turn up for, organize etc.

This week I decided to post something fun I saw on the internet and re-purpose it.  I hope you enjoy.

A few easy everyday ways to be Free from Frazzle: (adapted from positivemed.com)

1 . Laugh: When we are happy and feel good our body relaxes which allows your blood to flow more easily and effortlessly.

2. Hug someone your care about: This releases the chemical Oxytocin which is a feel good hormone and helps melt stress away. Next time you hug someone notice how you feel afterwards.

3. Spending time with loved ones is always heart opening and a wonderful side affect is it reduces your blood pressure, again, because you feel safe, supported and therefore you can relax.

4. Write a love letter to yourself . It is a thought that feeling the love lowers cholesterol and if not, it is a wonderful heart opening exercise.

5. Holding hands with someone you enjoy being with calms  your nerves and this feeling of support and connection allows the body to relax.

6.  A positive attitude has been shown to lower the risk of heart attack. When you are positive it opens the blood vessels, relaxes the muscles and therefor there is less tension held in your body.
